Oroco's Santo Tomás: Tomorrow's Copper Deposit
Copper is a key element in a tech-driven economy. Oroco's Santo Tomás copper mining project is looking to meet the rising demand.

RBC Capital Markets projects copper demand will surpass supply later this decade, pushing its price to $5 per pound. In northwest Mexico, the Santo Tomás mine is projected to produce 108,000 metric tons of copper equivalent annually with a total metal value of $25 billion at the current price of copper.

The Santo Tomás project outperforms many other copper mines in terms of financial viability, ore to waste ratio, and proximity to essential infrastructure such as fresh water, power lines, and a highway that leads to a deep water port.
